Brian Johnson

President & CEO

Brian Johnson, BHM’s President & CEO, has over sixteen years of executive-level experience in the healthcare field.  His expansive body of knowledge includes financial analysis, budgeting, claims authorization, credentialing, and pharmacy workflows and processes. Brian has been responsible for the creation and implementation of numerous innovative data and IT systems for large healthcare organizations. This experience includes needs analysis, budget, bid requirements, selection, and implementation of enterprise-wide software solutions.

Brian’s experience also includes projects for multiple state and local governments, including the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the State Office of the Attorney General, the State Office of the Legislative Audits, and the Office of the Inspector General. His technical experience includes data mining and analytical services for a contract estimated at $500 million dollars. He also has implemented claims cost avoidance and Medicare eligibility reports (ASP/SWL/ACCESS) that enable internal auditors to analyze claims payment anomalies and Medicare eligibility validation.

Highly experienced in financial planning and reporting, Brian is an expert in cost-containment and ROI analysis for operational change initiatives. He also has developed of a full suite of reports and reporting metrics that enable forecasting of financials, organizational capacity, and requirements based on key population indicators.

 

Jean Neiner

BHM Healthcare Solutions

Jean Neiner, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales with BHM, is a senior-level sales management professional with more than twenty years of healthcare expertise in strategic sales management, marketing management, client services, account management, and customer service.

Jean is responsible for the enterprise sales of the physician review services product line. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, sales management, sales presentations, RFP writing, territory management, new client acquisition, sales forecasting, and achievement of described sales goals. Prior to working for BHM, Jean worked in sales and marketing executive positions with Avatar Solutions, Krames StayWell, and Mosby (Elsevier). She has a proven track record of achieving strategic objectives, driving sales growth and retaining clients.

Mark Yanson

BHM Healthcare Solutions

Mark Yanson, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Consultant with BHM, is a financial executive with twenty-five years of experience in corporate accounting. He has comprehensive experience in senior-level finance and treasury roles for several large companies.

Prior to joining BHM, Mark co-founded Integra Health Management, a company that provides integrated care management services for high-risk, high-cost populations. Earlier in his career, as the Senior Vice President of Finance at APS Healthcare, Mark was responsible for the financial and accounting functions of a $250 million profitable managed behavioral healthcare company. There, he managed financial reporting, financial analysis, actuarial, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, expense management, and monthly financial and operation reviews.

Mark has provided consultation for a wide range of health plans and managed care organizations. Among his many accomplishments, he successfully raised $30 million in a private placement and negotiated and closed a $20 million acquisition. Mark leverages his financial and business acumen to improve management of medical costs by addressing physical, behavioral, social, and health system factors holistically.

Gwen Roberts

BHM Healthcare Solutions

Gwen Roberts, SVP of BHM’s Consulting Division and a Senior Consultant with BHM, has over twenty years of experience in healthcare project management, client relationship building, and system implementation.

Gwen is highly experienced in all aspects of insurance-related operations including claims, call center, provider networks, membership enrollment operations, and automation-based solutions. She also has a proven record of success in deploying a trifecta approach (workforce management, staffing, training), developing policies and procedures, leading process improvement teams using Six-Sigma principles, making improvements to the bottom line, and the turnaround of under performing operations, including P&L accountabilities.

Gwen is also proficient in CMS, URAC, and NCQA Operations standards and requirements, as well as in related HEDIS measures. She has been a major policy contributor to three-year accreditation and certification awards, and also is highly experienced with Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, PACE and commercial membership. Gwen has a proven record of building start-up operations, motivating teams, and developing staff to instill a shared, enthusiastic commitment to every aspect of world-class service delivery as a core competency.
