CARF is the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. CARF is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services in the following areas: aging services, behavioral health, business and services management networks, child and youth services, employment and community services, and medical rehabilitation. CARF is

- CARF maintains contact with the service provider during the accreditation tenure.
